The Problem

We build winter gardens, balcony and terrace glazing, glass roofs, pergolas, window fronts, shading systems, and metal structures — which means we depend on parts that fit exactly, every time. For one of our long-standing winter garden systems, we needed a specific gasket, and the supplier who had always made it for us simply stopped producing it. They had shut down operations.

Without that gasket, we were facing a redesign of the entire system — expensive, and not something we wanted to do to an already well-functioning product.

What We Did Together

We brought the problem to Leafy Greens AG and asked a simple question: could they reverse-engineer the gasket from what we still had? We handed over two original samples, they modeled them precisely in CAD, and printed functional prototypes in PEBA.

It didn't take long before we were holding samples that met everything we needed — fit, flexibility, quality.

The Result

After our approval, they manufactured all 200 gaskets in under 24 hours. That meant we could continue building our existing winter garden system exactly as planned and keep our project deadlines without delay.

What stuck with me was how quickly they acted and how precisely they knew what they were doing. A problem that could have jeopardized an entire product line was resolved within a matter of days.
