The Problem

We build conservatories, balcony and patio glazing, glass roofs, pergolas, window fronts, shading systems, and metal structures — so we depend on parts that fit exactly right, every time. One of our long-running conservatory systems needed a specific seal, and the supplier who'd always made it for us had simply stopped making them. They'd gone out of business.

Without that seal, we were looking at redesigning the whole system — expensive, and not something we wanted to do to a product that already worked.

What We Did Together

We brought the problem to Leafy Greens AG and asked a simple question: could they reverse-engineer the seal from what we had left? We handed over two original samples, they modeled it precisely in CAD, and printed working prototypes in PEBA.

It didn't take long before we had samples in hand that matched everything we needed — fit, flexibility, quality.

The Result

Once we signed off, they produced all 200 seals in under 24 hours. That meant we could keep building our existing conservatory system exactly as designed, and hit our project deadlines without missing a beat.

What stuck with me was how fast they moved and how much they clearly knew what they were doing. A problem that could have derailed a product line turned into a non-issue within days.
