The Problem

I've known Thomas Miller, the founder of Leafy Greens AG, for over 20 years. When we added 20 Mercedes-Benz B-Class vehicles to our fleet, we ran into a problem none of us had anticipated.

The cars simply sat too low for Bahamian roads. Between speed bumps, potholes, and stretches of road that had seen better days, customers kept scraping the oil pan when crossing obstacles — meaning engine damage, and meaning real money and real downtime.

Lift kits do exist for these cars. But at around $1,500 per vehicle before installation, equipping an entire fleet that way simply didn't make financial sense.

What We Did Together

I asked Leafy Greens AG directly: could they build something more affordable that would still actually work? They studied the suspension geometry and came back with something simple, sturdy, and easy to install — parts made from nylon with stainless steel bushings, custom-made for our cars. Once finished, the kits were shipped directly to us in the Bahamas.

The Result

Installation was hassle-free, and the kits raised the cars by roughly 3 to 5 centimeters — enough ground clearance to handle speed bumps and rough patches without anyone worrying about the oil pan anymore.

What really won me over was the price — about a quarter of what comparable kits cost on the market — and installation was just as easy. After we fitted the first kit, my honest reaction was: "This is brilliant, I'm genuinely thrilled and can't wait to finish the rest of the fleet."
