The Problem

I've known Thomas Miller, the founder of Leafy Greens AG, for over 20 years. When we added 20 Mercedes-Benz B-Class cars to our fleet, we ran into a problem none of us expected.

The cars just sat too low for Bahamian roads. Between the speed bumps, the potholes, and stretches of road that have seen better days, customers kept clipping the oil pan going over obstacles — and that meant engine damage, which meant real money and real downtime.

Lift kits exist for these cars, sure. But at roughly $1,500 per vehicle before installation, fitting out a whole fleet that way didn't make financial sense.

What We Did Together

I asked Leafy Greens AG straight up: could they build something cheaper that still actually works? They looked at the suspension geometry and came back with something simple, tough, and easy to install — parts machined from nylon and stainless steel bushings, built specifically around our cars. Once they were done, the kits shipped straight to us in the Bahamas.

The Result

Installation was painless, and the kits raised the cars by about 3 to 5 centimeters — enough clearance to handle speed bumps and rough patches without anyone worrying about the oil pan again.

What really got me was the price — about a quarter of what comparable kits cost on the market — and it was just as easy to bolt on. After we got the first kit installed, my honest reaction was: "That's awesome, genuinely thrilled, and I can't wait to get the rest of the fleet done."
