Mount an IKEA BILRESA on the wall without drilling or glue
The IKEA BILRESA is a small Matter remote for your smart home. It comes as a Dual-Button and as a Scroll-Wheel. The question is: where to put it? On the sideboard it gets lost, and you don't want to stick it on because the adhesive takes paint or wallpaper with it when removed. Drilling is not an option in a rented flat anyway.
The solution: a BILRESA holder on the outlet cover
The cover of your outlet or light switch is screwed on anyway. Mount One uses exactly those screws. You unscrew the cover, place the Mount One frame underneath and screw the cover back on with the same screws. The BILRESA holder clips onto the frame. The remote then sits right next to the light switch, where you expect it, and when you move out you take everything off. The wall stays untouched.
Which holder do I need?

You also need a Mount One frame. The holders are sold separately, and the BILRESA itself is not included. For Switzerland there are the Double and the Tripple, for Germany and Austria the Double and the Tripple. The holders are printed in PETG.
Sleek or Curved?
Both hold the BILRESA equally well. Sleek is straight and hardly stands out next to a flat switch range. Curved has a softer shape and suits round switch designs. In the end it is a matter of taste.
Will it fit my outlet?
Mount One is made for standard covers fixed with two screws. The compatibility check shows photos of the tested plates. The installation guide shows the installation step by step, with a video.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to drill or glue?
No. The frame is fixed with the existing screws of the cover.
Can I use it as a tenant?
Yes. When you move out, you unscrew the cover, remove the frame and screw the cover back on.
Is the BILRESA included?
No. You buy the remote from IKEA, and the holder and frame from us.
Is it available for Germany and Austria?
Yes, with the DE/AT frames. The compatibility check also shows the Schuko plates.
